Place garlic, ginger, hoisin, vinegar, lemon juice, sesame
oil, sugar, soy sauce and chili paste in the food processor
Process to puree
Add the green onions, cilantro and
pepper and process to a chunky puree
With machine
running add the oil.
Yield: 2 cups
SUGGESTED USE: Chili paste with garlic is a very spicy
mixture available at Asian grocery stores and many
supermarkets
To control the heat in this marinade, cut back
on the chili paste
Marinate a beef top sirloin or skirt or flank
steak (4 hours) in this rich sauce.
