MILK STARTER
Ingredients
Although a starter is simply flour and water, there are
many ways to make it. Most sourdough cooks develop
their own methods. Here's a common variation.
Directions
Let a cup of milk stand for a day or so in an uncovered container at room temperature
Then add a cup of flour, mix, and let stand for another couple of days or until it starts fermenting
It's now ready to use.
