MILK STARTER
  • Ingredients
  • Although a starter is simply flour and water, there are
  • many ways to make it. Most sourdough cooks develop
  • their own methods. Here's a common variation.
Directions
  1. Let a cup of milk stand for a day or so in an uncovered container at room temperature
  2. Then add a cup of flour, mix, and let stand for another couple of days or until it starts fermenting
  3. It's now ready to use.
