RHUBARB BREAD
RHUBARB BREAD
Ingredients
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sour milk (or buttermilk)
2-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon, soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups raw rhubarb, diced
1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
Directions
Cream brown sugar and butter together until fluffy
Stir in egg, sour milk, and vanilla. In a separate bowl sift together dry ingredients and stir into first mixture
Mix well
Stir in rhubarb and nuts. Pour batter into small greased loaf pans
Bake in 325F
oven 35-40 minutes
