HARD SAUCE FOR APPLE DUMPLINGS
  • Ingredients
  • 1 /2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 cup hot canned milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt
Directions
  1. Mix together canned milk and sugar, vanilla, and salt
  2. Shape in a cake 1 inch thick and chill
  3. Cut in slices and serve on hot dumplings.
