SODA CRACKER PIE
  • Ingredients
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 16 soda crackers
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup nut meats
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
  1. Beat egg whites until stiff
  2. Add 1 cup sugar gradually, then add the soda crackers which have been rolled fine, and combined with the baking powder
  3. Last, add nut meats and vanilla
  4. Spread in buttered 9-inch pie plate and bake 325F
  5. oven for 30 minutes
  6. When cold, cover with a layer of fresh strawberries or bananas
  7. Top with sweetened whipped cream
  8. Chill 2 hours before serving.
