NAVAJO CAKE
  • Ingredients
  • 6 cups water
  • 4 cups cooked blue corn meal
  • 2 cups cooked yellow com meal
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup sprouted wheat
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions
  1. Bring water to a boil in a large heavy saucepan
  2. Add blue cornmeal, yellow cornmeal, raisins, sprouted wheat, and brown sugar, stirring constantly over low heat. Blend until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed
  3. Pour mixture into a large baking pan or casserole and cover with foil
  4. Bake in a preheated 250F
  5. oven for 4 hours or until cake is firm
  6. Makes 8 servings.
