In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy
Beat in egg yolks
Blend in mashed potatoes, vanilla,
then cocoa.
In separate bowl, sift together remaining dry ingredi-
ents and alternately add them to sugar/potato mixture
along with the milk.
Beat egg whites to stiff-peak stage
Fold in nuts, then
egg whites
Pour the batter into two buttered loaf pans
(5 x 9inch) or a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan
