HAM & MUSHROOM SAUCE VARIATION
  • Ingredients
  • 2-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons dry apple cider
  • 1 cup shredded ham
  • grated nutmeg
  • Bechamel Sauce made with 1-3/4 cups milk and
  • 3 tablespoons each butter and all-purpose flour
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine mushrooms with cider
  2. Cover pan
  3. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes
  4. Add mushrooms, cooking liquid, ham and nutmeg to the Bechamel Sauce
  5. Toss with fet- tuccini or farfalle.
