HAM & MUSHROOM SAUCE VARIATION
Ingredients
2-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
3 tablespoons dry apple cider
1 cup shredded ham
grated nutmeg
Bechamel Sauce made with 1-3/4 cups milk and
3 tablespoons each butter and all-purpose flour
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine mushrooms with cider
Cover pan
Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes
Add mushrooms, cooking liquid, ham and nutmeg to the Bechamel Sauce
Toss with fet- tuccini or farfalle.
