Herb-Spice Rub
Herb-Spice Rub
Ingredients
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground white pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1 -1 /2 teaspoons celery seeds
1-1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1-1/2 teaspoons dill seeds
1-1/2 teaspoons mustard seeds
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender, mini-processor, spice grinder or mortar and pestle and blend well
Keeps for 2 months. Yield: 1/2 cup SUGGESTED USE: To preserve the flavors of this rub, store the mixture in the refrigerator
Rub it on chicken pieces (30 minutes) or lamb chops or butterflied leg of lamb (30 to 60 minutes)
It is really superb on any kind of steak (20 to 30 minutes).
