GROUND PORK PATTIES
  • Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground pork
  • 4 sesame buns
Directions
  1. In a large bowl combine the bread crumbs, sage, thyme, applesauce, egg, green onion, salt and pepper; mix well
  2. Stir in ground pork until well blended
  3. Form into 4 patties, about 3/4 to 1-inch thick. Rotate in the Standard Flat Basket for 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through
  4. Remove and serve in the buns with ketchup and lettuce.
