SOUTH AMERICAN CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
SOUTH AMERICAN CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh oregano
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Whisk together the olive oil and vinegar
Stir in the onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, cayenne and pepper
Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours before serving over steak.
