SOUTH AMERICAN CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
  1. Whisk together the olive oil and vinegar
  2. Stir in the onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, cayenne and pepper
  3. Let stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours before serving over steak.
