CILANTRO CHILI SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans diced mild green chilies
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup packed cilantro
  • 1/2 cup hot melted butter
Directions
  1. Combine chilies, wine, green onions and lime juice in a small saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil and continue to cook until mixture is reduced by half
  3. Cool about 5 minutes
  4. Pour into a food processor or blender and puree
  5. Add the cilantro and finely chop
  6. With machine running, add the hot melted butter
  7. Serve immediately over rotated chicken or vegetables.
