Pickled Jalapeno and Garlic Paste
  • Ingredients
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons canned pickled jalapeno, minced
  • 1 teaspoon juice from pickled jalapenos
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
  1. In a small bowl or with a mortar and pestle, mash the garlic and jalapeno with the pickled jalapeno juice
  2. Mash in the oil to form a paste. Yield: 1/4 cup SUGGESTED USE: Rub the paste over extra large shrimp (30 minutes) and cook on skewers
  3. This is also tasty rubbed on boneless chicken breasts (30 to 60 minutes).
