MOROCCAN HARISSA RUB
  • Ingredients
  • Makes 1/2 cup
  • 3 to 4 fresh red or green jalapenos, seeded and minced
  • 2 cloves garlic,minced
  • 1/4 cup canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons dried red pepper flakes
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix well
  2. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks
  3. Use as is over chicken or beef, or mix with mayonnaise or sour cream and use as a garnish.
