Four Cheeses Sauce
Four Cheeses Sauce
Ingredients
1-1/4 cups half and half
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (1-1/2 ounces)
3 ounces Gruyere cheese, diced
3 ounces soft goat's cheese
3 ounces mozzarella cheese, diced
freshly ground black pepper to taste
chopped ham, optional
chopped chives, optional
Directions
Put half and half in a large saucepan with half of Parmesan cheese
Add Gruyere cheese, goat's cheese and mozzarella cheese
Cook over low heat until cheeses are melted
Season with pepper to taste
Add cooked and drained bucatini or maca- roni to cheese mixture
Stir well
Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese, ham and chives, if desired
Serves 4.
