Walnut Sauce
Walnut Sauce
Ingredients
8 ounces shelled walnuts
4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic
4 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup milk
Directions
Blanch the walnuts in boiling water and rub off their skins
Soak the breadcrumbs in water, then drain and squeeze dry
Place the walnuts, bread- crumbs, and garlic in a blender or food processor and blend until a smooth paste forms
Add the olive oil, milk, and salt to taste and stir well
Toss cooked pasta with sauce
Serves 4.
