Green Peppercorn & Lemon Sauce
  • Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup half and half
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons green peppercorns, drained
  • grated peel of 1 lemon
  • salt to taste
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter
  2. Stir in half and half
  3. Lightly crush peppercorns with the back of a spoon
  4. Add to sauce
  5. Stir in lemon peel and salt to taste
  6. Cook over low heat, without boiling, until slightly thickened
  7. Toss with hot pasta
  8. Serves 4.
