SUMMIT GRANOLA
SUMMIT GRANOLA
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups rolled cereals (use oatmeal alone, or com-
bine it with rolled wheat and rolled rye)
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
3/4 cup coconut flakes or shreds
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/8 cup date sugar or 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup honey (or more)
1/3 cup safflower (or more)
Brewer's yeast, lecithin granules and whey powder
(optional)
Directions
Mix dry ingredients
Stir in water, honey, and oil
Spread in shallow pan
Bake 2 hours at 225 degrees F
Cool
Use more honey and oil for more moisture
Eat dry or mixed with milk
For addi- tional nutrition, add brewer's yeast, lecithin, and a little whey powder prior to eating.
