SUMMIT GRANOLA
  • Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled cereals (use oatmeal alone, or com-
  • bine it with rolled wheat and rolled rye)
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 3/4 cup coconut flakes or shreds
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/8 cup date sugar or 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup honey (or more)
  • 1/3 cup safflower (or more)
  • Brewer's yeast, lecithin granules and whey powder
  • (optional)
Directions
  1. Mix dry ingredients
  2. Stir in water, honey, and oil
  3. Spread in shallow pan
  4. Bake 2 hours at 225 degrees F
  5. Cool
  6. Use more honey and oil for more moisture
  7. Eat dry or mixed with milk
  8. For addi- tional nutrition, add brewer's yeast, lecithin, and a little whey powder prior to eating.
