HIKER'S ENERGY MIX
  • Ingredients
  • 1 cup instant whole wheat cereal
  • 1 cup quick oatmeal
  • 2 to 3 cups chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup dried chipped beef
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Mix cereals and fruit and set aside
  3. Crumble meat into fine pieces and mix with other ingredients
  4. Store and carry mix- ture in a covered plastic container
  5. Eat dry by the handful for trail food, or mix with hot water for a tasty meal.
