BACKPACKER'S BREAKFAST FOOD
Ingredients
1/4 cup natural wheat-barley prepared cereal
1/4 cup each rice cereal and oatmeal
1/4 cup high-protein prepared breakfast cereal
1/4 cup dry milk
2 tablespoons wheat germ
3 tablespoons nondairy creamer
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped dry fruit( dates, raisins, prunes),
or nuts(preferably cashews)
Directions
Mix all ingredients together
For cereal when camp- ing or hiking add water to reconstitute dry milk and cream
For at home use, omit dry milk and nondairy creamer and use real milk for cereal.
