Cut the top off the bunch of cilantro which will include all
the leaves and some stems
Place in a food processor
Add
the garlic cloves and pulse to finely mince
Add the
remaining ingredients and puree.
Yield: 1/2 cup

available at any Asian market and some supermarkets
It is a
very salty liquid made from anchovies, salt and water
Used
in marinades like this one it provides a light salty taste
Try
this marinade on bone-in chicken pieces (4 to 6 hours),
boneless chicken breasts (1 hour) or shrimp (1 hour).
