  • Ingredients
  • Makes about 3/4 lb jerky
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup oil and vinegar dressing
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 - 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 TB liquid smoke mixture of your favorite herbs
  • 3 lbs round, flank steak, or other lean cut meat
Directions
  1. Mix marinade ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Dip meat slices into marinade
  3. Place dipped meat in layers in a bowl or dish
  4. Pour remaining marinade sauce over meat
  5. Cover tightly and let marinate in refrigerator for 6 to 12 hours
  6. Rotate layers of meat occasionally. Place in dehydrator until dry
  7. While meat is dry- ing, blot excess oil with paper towel.
