Apricot Mustard Dipping Sauce
  • Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups apricot preserves
  • 6 tablespoons Dijon or Creole mustard
Directions
  1. Place apricot preserves and mustard in a small saucepan over low heat
  2. Cook, gently, stirring often until the preserves melt
  3. Stir to combine with mustard
  4. Cool and refrigerate for up to 1 week. Yield: 1-1/2 cups SUGGESTED USE: Use some Cajun-Creole Rub (page 129) on chicken wings or pieces and then serve with this tangy sauce for dipping
  5. It's also a tasty dip for satay strips of cooked pork or chicken or even shrimp.
