SPICED APPLES
  • Ingredients
  • 1 lb. tart apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup wine or dry sherry
  • 6 TB butter
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
Directions
  1. Cut apples into thick slices and cook in heated but- ter, stirring constantly
  2. When soft and light brown, add sugar, cinnamon, and wine
  3. Cook mixture for 5 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and spoon in yogurt, stir gently
  5. Serve hot or cold
  6. Serves 4.
