RICE CAKES
  • Ingredients
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 TB margarine, melted
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 1/2 cups yogurt
  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 2 TBsugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk
Directions
  1. Mix egg, yogurt, margarine and rice
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir until mixed well
  3. Fold onto hot oiled griddle
  4. Brown both sides
  5. Serve plain or with syrup
  6. Makes 18, 3 inch cakes.
