Step 1: Prepare the AquaChef
1) Fill the basin with approximately 3.5 liters of water
2) Plug in the AquaChef and press the power button
3) Set the AquaChef's temperature to 145℉
4) Press the START button to preheat the water
Step 2: Prepare the Pork Chop
Cut off the excess fat from the pork chop
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper on each side (or to taste)
Place two sprigs of fresh thyme on top and add a pat of butter to the top
Place in a Seal ‘N Fresh bag and add the apple cider vinegar
Seal with the Seal ‘N Fresh Vacuum Sealer.
Step 3: Prepare the Apples
Using a peeler, remove the skin from the apple
Slice the apple in half and remove the core with a melon baller
Cut the apple into 1/2" to 3/4" slices
In a mixing bowl add the cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar and quickly mix with your hands
Make a flat layer of the apples in a new bag
Seal the bag first with your hands, and then vacuum out as much air as possible.
Step 4: Cooking with the AquaChef
Once the AquaChef is preheated, set the cook time on your AquaChef to 4 hour
Then place both bags in the cooking basket and place it carefully into the AquaChef and put the lid on.
Step 5: Serving the Pork Chop
Once the time is up, the AquaChef will beep
Carefully remove the basket from the AquaChef, as it will be hot
Remove the excess juice from the apples and place them on a plate with the pork chop on top and serve.
