GREEK TZATZIKI SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 1 long hot house cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 sprigs fresh dill
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
  1. Finely dice or grate the cucumber and place in a colander
  2. Toss with salt and let drain for at least 1 hour
  3. Squeeze out excess liquid from cucumber. Peel garlic and finely mince
  4. Remove leaves from dill and finely mince
  5. Stir garlic and dill into yogurt and sour cream
  6. Stir in cucumber and pepper
  7. Chill at least 1 hour before serving
  8. Keeps 1 day refrigerated.
