Poblano Chili Sauce
  • Ingredients
  • 2 poblano chilies, roasted and peeled
  • 1 jalapeno chili, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
  1. Place the chilies, onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, water, olive oil and salt in the blender or food processor
  2. Puree until a chunky paste is formed. Yield: 1 cup SUGGESTED USE: Spoon this sauce onto serving plates and top with a cooked steak, chicken breasts or shrimp
  3. Sprinkle with minced cilantro to serve.
