GUACAMOLE
  • Ingredients
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 serrano chili
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt to taste
Directions
  1. Peel avocados and cut into medium dice
  2. Place in a strainer and rinse in cold water to retard color change
  3. Transfer to a bowl and mash
  4. Cut tomato in half crosswise and squeeze out the seeds
  5. Remove the stem and cut into small dice
  6. Finely mince the chili to make 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Peel and mince the garlic. Remove cilantro leaves and mince
  8. Add tomato, chili, garlic and cilantro to avocados along with lime juice and salt to taste.
