SPICY ORANGE TOFU NOODLES
  • Ingredients
  • 8 ounces baked tofu, any flavor
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 4 slices peeled fresh ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 pound linguine
  • 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons spice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Asian sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Asian chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Directions
  1. Cut the tofu into Batonnet strips
  2. Remove cilantro leaves and set aside
  3. Mince ginger and garlic
  4. Combine all sauce ingredients
  5. Cook linguine in a large pot of boiling water
  6. Drain and toss with sesame oil
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium high heat
  8. Add the ginger and garlic and toss 1 minute
  9. Add all the sauce ingredients and tofu and bring to a simmer, stirring often
  10. Cook until sauce is thickened
  11. Toss hot sauce with noodles and cilantro and serve immediately.
