Cranberry Orange Sauce
  • Ingredients
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 /4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 /2 teaspoon grated orange rind (zest)
Directions
  1. Place cranberry juice in a 2 quart saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil then cook down until reduced to 1 cup
  3. Add brown sugar and vinegar and boil until mixture is syrupy and reduced to about 1/2 cup
  4. Stir in zest and keep warm. Yield: 1/2 cup SUGGESTED USE: This sauce is perfect for roast chicken or turkey
  5. It is even special drizzled over sliced roast pork.
