THAI STYLE TURKEY BURGERS
  • Ingredients
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 slice peeled fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint leaves
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 3 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Directions
  1. Peel garlic
  2. Remove leaves from cilantro and mint stems
  3. Into a food processor with the motor on, drop the garlic and the ginger slice
  4. Stop and add the cilantro, mint, basil, lime juice, sugar and blend the mixture well
  5. In a bowl combine the turkey, the herb mixture, the breadcrumbs, and the cayenne and form the mixture into four 1-inch thick patties
  6. Preheat grill
  7. Sprinkle patties with paprika and grill for 7 to 8 minutes per side or until cooked through.
