Italian Salsa
  • Ingredients
  • 4 tomatoes, seeded and finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil sliced
  • 1 /2 teaspoon salt
Directions
  1. Place the tomatoes in a medium bowl and toss in the garlic, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper
  2. Let stand at room temperature 30 to 60 minutes and serve. Yield: 2 cups SUGGESTED USE: Use this as the topping for Italian Bruschetta - that's grilled slices of bread topped with tomato salad
  3. Or try it on top of fish or chicken.
