Wine and Honey Marinade
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 /8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 /4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
Place the tomato sauce, red wine, honey, vinegar, onion, garlic, cloves, salt and pepper in a large bowl
Stir to combine. Yield: 3 cups SUGGESTED USE: Marinate beef short ribs (24 hours) or pork spareribs (24 hours) in this mixture
This is also a good marinade for London broil (24 hours).
