Wine and Honey Marinade
  • Ingredients
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 /8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 /4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
  1. Place the tomato sauce, red wine, honey, vinegar, onion, garlic, cloves, salt and pepper in a large bowl
  2. Stir to combine. Yield: 3 cups SUGGESTED USE: Marinate beef short ribs (24 hours) or pork spareribs (24 hours) in this mixture
  3. This is also a good marinade for London broil (24 hours).
