WHITE CLAM SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 2(7-1/2 ounce) cans minced clams
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
Directions
  1. In a saucepan, saute butter and garlic until golden brown
  2. Drain clams, reserving all of the liquid
  3. Stir in clam liquid and parsley; bring to a boil
  4. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 min- utes
  5. Add clams and continue to simmer for about 5 minutes
  6. A 6 ounce can tomato sauce may be added if desired.
