PESTO SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup each grated Parmesan & Romano Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 6 blanched almonds
  • 6 walnut halves
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
Directions
  1. Place ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste
  2. Place mixture into a warm bowl while cooking pasta
  3. Drain pasta and add to pesto sauce, tossing to coat
  4. Add about 4 tablespoons of hot water and toss again
  5. Serve immediately.
