BEEF DUMPLINGS WITH GUSTO
  • Ingredients
  • 1 full load pasta dough 3/4 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
Directions
  1. Cook the beef and onion in the olive oil
  2. Allow it to cool
  3. Combine meat with remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well
  4. Make a load of your favorite pasta dough and use the instructions for making filled pasta at the beginning of this book
  5. You'll need about two dozen 2 to 3 inch circles
  6. Place a teaspoon of filling onto each round, and fold it over into a semicircle
  7. Pinch the edges to seal them
  8. Boil the dumplings for 10 to 15 minutes.
