SESAME NOODLES
  • Ingredients
  • 1 full load pasta dough made into vermicelli,
  • angel hair, or other thin pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
Directions
  1. Make and cook the vermicelli, omitting the salt. Drain and transfer to a heated serving bowl
  2. While the pasta is cooking, toast the sesame seeds in a small skillet over moderately low heat, stirring, until they begin to turn an amber color-about 2 minutes
  3. Add margarine, swirling the skillet until the margarine melts
  4. Pour the sesame seeds and margarine over the vermicelli, add the salt, and toss until each strand is coated.
