Make and cook the vermicelli, omitting the salt.
Drain and transfer to a heated serving bowl
While
the pasta is cooking, toast the sesame seeds in a
small skillet over moderately low heat, stirring,
until they begin to turn an amber color-about 2
minutes
Add margarine, swirling the skillet until
the margarine melts
Pour the sesame seeds and
margarine over the vermicelli, add the salt, and
toss until each strand is coated.
