Asian Sesame Marinade
  • Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Asian sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 green onion, minced Pinch dry red pepper flakes
Directions
  1. Place sherry, soy sauce, vegetable oil and sesame oil in a medium bowl
  2. Whisk to combine well
  3. Whisk in the ginger, green onion and red pepper flakes. Yield: 1 cup SUGGESTED USE: This is the perfect chicken marinade
  4. Work the marinade under and over the skin of a whole chicken (4 to 6 hours) or soak chicken pieces (3 to 4 hours) or boneless breasts (2 to 3 hours) in this mixture
  5. It is also tasty for shrimp (1 to 3 hours) or pork tenderloin (4 to 6 hours).
