SHRIMP WON TON
SHRIMP WON TON
Ingredients
1 full load of Chinese egg noodle pastamade into won tons
1 pound shelled, de-veined shrimps
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
6 water chestnuts, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons corn flour
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook the shrimps in oil for about 5 minutes
Let cool, then chop finely
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well
Make won tons according to instructions for making filled pasta in the Making Pasta chapter
Place a single layer of dumplings in a steamer and cook for about 10 minutes
Oil the steamer rack if it is made of metal
Repeat until all of the dumplings are ready
Serve with hot Chinese mustard.
