Spicy Orange Marinade
Spicy Orange Marinade
Ingredients
2 tablespoons grated orange rind (zest)
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 /2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Place the orange zest, orange juice, vegetable oil, garlic, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, vinegar and salt in a blender
Blend until marinade is smooth. Yield: 1-1/2 cups SUGGESTED USE: This marinade has a spicy-sweet kick
It's great on beef and very delicious on vegetables, too
Try skirt steak (3 to 4 hours), top sirloin (3 to 4 hours), London Broil (4 to 6 hours) or a variety of sliced vegetables (1 hour).
