Garlic Soy Marinade
  • Ingredients
  • 1 /4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup medium-dry Sherry
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 /4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Directions
  1. Place soy sauce, Sherry and vegetable oil in a small bowl
  2. Whisk to combine
  3. Whisk in the brown sugar to dissolve and then stir in the garlic, ginger and pepper. Yield: 3/4 cup SUGGESTED USE: The flavor of this marinade penetrates quickly
  4. Try it on boneless chicken breasts (1 hour), pork tenderloin (2 hours) or shrimp (1 hour).
