CHOCOLATE & NUT BUTTERFLIES
  • Ingredients
  • 1 half load of pasta dough made into butterflies
  • 1/4 cup blanched almonds 1/4 cup hazelnuts 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light-brown sugar
Directions
  1. Make butterflies, cook al dente, drain and transfer to a heated serving dish
  2. Meanwhile, put nuts in a broiler pan and broil, stirring frequently, until golden brown
  3. Chop nuts coarsely
  4. Add butter to pasta and stir
  5. Add chopped nuts, chocolate and brown sugar
  6. Toss to mix thoroughly
  7. Serve at once.
