Spicy Sicilian Sausages
Spicy Sicilian Sausages
Ingredients
2 pounds ground pork or turkey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 teaspoons fennel seed, slightly crushed
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup cold water
Directions
Add the pork or turkey and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
Using the #26 cone extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four to six-inch links
Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
Refrigerate and use within three to four days or freeze for later use.
