Apple Curry Lamb Sausage
Ingredients
2 pounds ground lamb
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup grated peeled apple
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup chopped mango chutney
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons milk
Directions
Add the lamb and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
Using the #26 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four- inch links
Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
Refrigerate and use within three to four days or freeze for later use.
