Balsamic Italian Sausage
Balsamic Italian Sausage
Ingredients
1 pound ground pork
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons seasoned dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
Directions
Add the pork, turkey and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
Using the #26 or #20 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four- inch links
Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
Refrigerate and use within three to four days or freeze for later use.
