Spicy Thai Marinade
  • Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Thai red curry paste
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
  1. Place the fish sauce, water, ketchup, curry paste in a small bowl
  2. Whisk to combine
  3. Whisk in the sugar, lime juice and oil. Yield: 2 cups SUGGESTED USE: Thai curry paste is available at Asian markets and in some supermarkets in the Oriental section
  4. It is a very spicy blend of chilies and spices
  5. Use this pungent marinade when you want to live dangerously on shrimp or fish fillets (1 to 2 hours), boneless chicken breasts (1 to 2 hours) or even rub it under and over the skin of a whole chicken (1 to 2 hours).
