Asian Pork and Shrimp Sausage
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oriental sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled,
  • deveined and chopped
Directions
  1. Add the pork and remaining ingredients, except the shrimp, to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
  2. Add the shrimp and process another 20 seconds
  3. Using the #26 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four-inch links
  4. Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
  5. Refrigerate and use within two days or freeze for later use.
