Sweet-Sour Turkey Sausage
Sweet-Sour Turkey Sausage
Ingredients
2 pounds ground turkey
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup minced onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs
Directions
Add turkey and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
Using the #26 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four- inch links
Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
Refrigerate and use within three to four days or freeze for later use.
