Teriyaki Turkey Sausage
  • Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce*
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons plain dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
Directions
  1. Add turkey and remaining ingredients to the mixing bin and process until thoroughly blended
  2. Using the #26 horn extrude the mixture into the casings and twist off into four- inch links
  3. Poke several holes down the length of each sausage
  4. Refrigerate and use within three to four days or freeze for later use. *Hoisin sauce is a special Chinese sauce similiar to barbecue sauce
  5. It can be found in most grocery stores in the Oriental section and at all Asian markets.
